Cold and flu
Cold and flu are considered the most widespread viruses in our areas. They are characterized by sore throat, cough, sinus pain, runny nose, headache, and fever.
Our doctors can help you relieve the symptoms of a viral infection.

Cold and flu are respiratory illnesses caused by different viruses, but they share similar symptoms.
Cold symptoms typically include a runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, cough, mild headache, mild body aches, and a low-grade fever (rarely above 38°C).
On the other hand, flu symptoms are more severe and sudden. They can include a high fever (above 38°C), severe headache and body aches, fatigue, serious cough, sore throat, chills, and sometimes nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
Prevention measures for both cold and flu include practicing good hand hygiene, covering coughs and sneezes, avoiding close contact with sick individuals, and getting vaccinated annually.
Treatment for these illnesses usually involves rest, staying hydrated, over-the-counter medications to relieve symptoms, and sometimes antiviral medications for the flu, especially for individuals at high risk of complications.
